A DAVID DRYDEN HOME
The Bellinger-Kelland-Bartlett House embodies distinctive California Craftsman bungalow architectural traits from the 1913 period. This structure is one of University Heights’ best surviving examples of an early David Dryden home.

Dryden was a Master Builder who is credited with building 60 houses in San Diego. This is one of 26 such Dryden homes built in the period preceding the 1915-1916 Panama-California Exposition. The Panorama and Cliff Street neighborhood where it is located was closely associated with Mission Cliffs Gardens, a destination on the San Diego Electric Railway on Adams Avenue.
